For the ‘Art of the Football Scarf’ exhibition I designed and created a scarf dedicated to footballing legend Paul Scholes. The blend of high fashion and the footballing world is becoming more prominent, with the likes of Grealish for GUCCI and Rashford for Burberry. I wanted to explore the idea behind someone who is past their footballing prime and imagine what a collaboration piece with a fashion company could have looked like.

I created a Paul Smith inspired scarf, replacing his iconic signature with the ‘Paul Scholes’. Manufacturing the iconic PS stripes was a tricky task, which is why through an algorithm of using only 7 colours on offer, each giving odes to Paul Scholes career, this resulted in quite an exciting outcome. A satirical look on fashion as a whole and pursuing the love of creating bootleg edition of fashion pieces. The scarf was featured and on display for the exhibition (November 2022 - February 2023)
